Be there when the industry meets in Hamburg on June 23rd, 2022: THE BLUE BEACH, the summer event for the makers of renewable energies, is entering its second round.
Under the motto “We for the energy transition” you can expect top-class speakers from business, politics and initiatives. Whether offshore, hydrogen, environmental protection or digital change – the relevant topics of the industry will also be discussed at THE BLUE BEACH Stage in 2022 and crowned by an exclusive keynote.
THE BLUE BEACH means networking at a high level, enjoying culinary highlights and celebrating with live music. The location, the beach club del mar in Hamburg St. Pauli, offers a unique backdrop for the industry’s summer event with its view of the Hamburg harbor backdrop and the city’s wind turbines.

Claudia Kleinert, German television presenter Since 1999 she has presented Das Wetter in the first and a few third programs, and since 2002 the weather announcements before the daily news and after the daily topics.
Vincent Nölting, Founder THE BLUE has been a recognized sales and marketing expert in renewable energies for over 10 years, owner of the Agency Nölting GmbH and founder of the brand THE BLUE (2013). As a passionate networker, he brings the actors of the energy transition together with his formats from THE BLUE – Tomorrow’s Green.
Sven Utermöhlen, CEO Wind Offshore RWE Sven Utermöhlen has held various senior executive roles in Renewable Energy for more than 14 years, with a focus on offshore wind. Sven is the CEO for Offshore Wind at RWE Renewables.
Senator Michael Westhagemann has been responsible for the Department of Economics and Innovation of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg since 2018. As one of the key drivers of the North German Hydrogen Strategy adopted in 2019, he is convinced that green hydrogen is not only a key element in decarbonising Hamburg’s economy and industry and thus achieving climate neutrality, but also contributes significantly to strengthening the competitiveness and economic power of Hamburg as a business location.
Hans Gatzemeier, CEO ELA Container Offshore With more than 30 years’ experience in developing portable room solutions for all kind of industry. He is the specialist in realizing every kind of accommodation wherever they will be needed, especially in the Renewable Offshore Energy Sector.
Jörg Kubitza, Managing Director of Ørsted, Germany has been Managing Director of Orsted Wind Power Germany GmbH, Orsted Markets GmbH and Orsted Sales GmbH as well as Country Manager of Ørsted in Germany since April 2021. Prior to joining Ørsted, Kubitza was responsible for the German renewable energy business at Czech utility CEZ A/S as Managing Director until the end of 2019, where he also played a key role in building up the renewables division in Germany and France as Head of Strategy. Jörg Kubitza was able to build up his expertise in the field of offshore wind power in particular during his time at Mitsubishi Power Systems and later at MHI Vestas, where he was, among other things, Head of Strategy and Corporate Development from 2014 to 2016 and supported the successful expansion in Germany and APAC. Kubitza holds a degree in law, is a lawyer and mediator.
Astrid Dose, Deputy Managing Director EEHH external representative of the cluster, head of public relations & marketing, conception of digital and analogue events for 10 years and has played a key role in leading the hydrogen issue in the cluster’s work from the very beginning.
Dr. Markus Stuhlert, CEO PLARAD After his studies in industrial engineering and his doctorate in marketing, he held several positions in sales, marketing and service at Bosch Rexroth. This was followed by management positions at Klingenberg and Mahr Messtechnik. Between 2010 and 2015, Dr Stuhlert was responsible for the global after-sales business of Bosch Rexroth, now ZF Wind, for stationary and mobile gearboxes. For the wind power sector, he built up service workshops for generator and pitch & azimuth gearboxes in Germany, USA and China. Since April 2019, Dr Stuhlert has been Managing Director of Maschinenfabrik Wagner – Plarad, which has been distributing bolting technology for wind power since the early 2000s.
Bernd Aufderheide. CEO Hamburg Messe und Congress has been since January 2004. He was appointed President of HMC in April 2007. He was born in Herford, North Rhine-Westphalia in 1959, is married and has one son. Alongside his work for HMC, Bernd Aufderheide is also an honorary Commercial Judge in Hamburg, holds the rank of Frigate Commander in the Navy Reserve, and serves on the Executive Committee of half a dozen professional associations, societies and organisations
Claus Ulrich Selbach, Business Unit Director Maritime and Technology Fairs of Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH (HMC) since 2015.
Paul Keuter, Member of the Management Team at Hertha BSC is a German football official. In addition to the digital transformation of the Bundesliga club, Keuter is responsible for the areas of communication, brand management and CSR. In May 2019, he was appointed to the board of the Hertha BSC Foundation
Sven Jacobi, Founder MBRC Ocean is a German entrepreneur who founded Neo Group in the early 2000s and was the first entrepreneur to bring video advertising to supermarkets across Europe. Three years ago, Sven sold his company to the STRÖER Group. Since then, he has dedicated himself to his own organisation MBRC The Oean for: No more plastic in our ocean! In the meantime, more than 1000 freelancers worldwide are working for his idea. Since 2021, he has been a member of the board of the German Marine Litter Association (Bundesverband Meeresmüll e.v.).
Dr. Hubert Schillings, CEO ENGIE Generation Germany is a graduate engineer (RWTH Aachen University) and has worked for the ENGIE Group for eight years, including as a Fuel Expert and Manager Business Development at Lahmeyer / Tractebel. As managing director of ENGIE Generation Germany GmbH, he accompanies various ENGIE H2 projects and represents the company on the project advisory board of the H2 Potential Atlas project (HYPAT), which is managed by Deutsche Energieagentur (dena).

Vaccinated persons will need either the digital, the printed or the yellow vaccination card.
Digital apps on smartphones that are accepted include CovPass app, Corona warning app, Stop Corona (Austria), TousAntiCovid (France) and others.
Genesees need their positive PCR result or quarantine order showing Covid 19 disease. The Corona infection must have occurred at least 28 days ago and must be no more than six months old.
Digital versions of the vaccination and recovery certificates as well as their paper versions in German, English, French, Italian or Spanish are accepted. Almost all countries of the European Union print the vaccination certificate in English in addition to the national language.

THE BLUE develops innovative event formats on current topics with experts from the fields of business, politics, technology and the environment.
With meanwhile five independent formats and several thousand visitors since its introduction at the global wind fair WindEnergy Hamburg 2014, THE BLUE accompanies current topics from the fields of economy, politics and technology for renewable energies. The unique thing about the format is its independence.
HAMBURG del mar Beachclub
The HAMBURG del mar Beachclub is the ideal location for the THE BLUE BEACH event. Located directly at the Hamburg Landungsbrücken, the right networking atmosphere with a view of the Elbe, the Elbphilharmonie and the wind turbines of the city of Hamburg is created as soon as you enter the beach bar. With a capacity of up to 1,000 guests and an area of 980 m², the location is Hamburg’s first outdoor address. The stylish white wooden furniture, the numerous palm trees and the long wooden walkways characterize the unique beach look. Our top caterer will provide you with many delicious dishes and a large selection of drinks at the table, and a great program with speakers and live music awaits you on stage. If the weather shows from the Hamburg side, then large umbrellas are put up, without losing the view or the mood. In addition, each guest will receive a personal umbrella, if desired.

The ticket price of € 280.00 plus VAT includes participation in the entire THE BLUE BEACH program as well as all food and drinks.
You make a binding reservation for your ticket today and only pay for it after receipt of the invoice in the 1st quarter of 2022. Cancellation is free of charge until December 31st, 2021.
