Since 2023, Claudia Kleinert has been a Holder of the Order of Merit North Rhine-Westphalia.

Michael Strugl

is Chief Executive Officer of VERBUND AG, Austria’s leading electricity company and one of the largest hydropower producers in Europe, since 1 January 2021. He is also elected President of Oesterreichs Energie in June 2020 and President of the World Energy Council Austria. Michael Strugl studied law, social sciences and economics at the Johannes Kepler University. He holds an MBA in International Finance from the University of Toronto and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Programme of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Giles Dickson

has been Chief Executive Officer of WindEurope since 2015. WindEurope is the voice of the European wind industry. The association represents the entire value chain of onshore and offshore wind energy in Europe and has more than 400 members active in over 50 countries. Dickson is also Chair of the Advisory Board of ENTSO-E and Visiting Professor at the Bucharest School of Economics. Before joining WindEurope, Giles Dickson was a UK civil servant for 16 years and then led Alstom’s public affairs activities.

Pierre Tardieu

is Chief Policy Officer at WindEurope. He leads WindEurope’s Policy Department covering advocacy, innovation, market intelligence and stakeholder engagement. Pierre also co-manages the Renewable Hydrogen Coalition, the Energy Storage Coalition and RE-Source. He joined WindEurope in 2011 and has a decade and a half of experience in European Climate and Energy policy. Pierre holds degrees from College of Europe, Paris Catholic Institute and Strasbourg Institute of Political Science.

Natalia Kress
General Manager, COO at SeaRenergy
joined SeaRenergy as General Manager (ppa) in 2017. In early 2023, she was appointed as COO at SeaRenergy, overseeing the Sales & Execution department. She has 15 years of experience in the offshore industry, especially in the installation and operation phases of offshore wind farms, with a particular focus on heavy lift vessels and O&M offshore logistics.

Christian Pho Duc
Chief Technology Officer at Smartenergy Group AG
is the CTO at Smartenergy and the Vice Chair of the Renewable Hydrogen Workstream at Solar Power Europe. He graduated as a Physicist from Munich and Cambridge University. Christian has accumulated 25 years working experience in Semiconductors (Siemens, IBM, G&D, Infineon Technologies), Renewable Energies & Hydrogen (Solyndra, Nanosolar, Smartenergy) and Electric Mobility (Torqeedo) in various management positions. With his multi-national background he speaks fluently German, English, French, Italian and some Spanish.

Prof. Dr. Martin Skiba
Vice Chairman at WORLD FORUM OFFSHORE WIND (WFO)
has been actively involved in the expansion of renewable energies in Europe for more than 30 years, and has worked exclusively in the globally growing offshore wind market for 22 years. His professional path in the offshore wind industry led him via leading positions at Repower Systems AG and RWE Innogy to his current work as a consultant and entrepreneur. Currently, the mechanical engineer, who holds a doctorate, is also an honorary board member of the Offshore Wind Energy Foundation as well as Vice Chairman of the World Forum Offshore Wind and a lecturer at the TUHH.

Tina-Miriam Fuchs
Head of New Development Offshore at EnBW AG
originally comes from southern Germany and studied industrial engineering in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. After working in software development and media, she spent several years at Lufthansa Technik and Airbus in the aviation industry. In 2015, she switched to the renewable energy sector and initially worked at Senvion as a project manager and as a team and department head in project implementation. Since 2022, she has been working at EnBW AG, where she acquired and developed new offshore wind projects as a project manager. She currently heads the New Development Offshore department.

Tobias Heyen
Head of Renewables Origination BP Germany at ENGIE-GEMS
studied Business Administration at the University of Hamburg. He started his career in 2005 as Risk Manager at Vattenfall in Stockholm before joining EWE in 2007, where he held various positions, among others as Head of Short Term Trading and Head of Direct Marketing. In 2021, he joined the ENGIE Group (former GDF SUEZ), initially as Managing Director 2nd Life Wind. Since 2022, he is Head of Renewables Origination Business Plattform Germany, connecting RES producers with the industry.
