Michael Strugl has been the Chief Executive Officer of VERBUND AG, Austria’s leading electricity company and one of the largest hydropower producers in Europe, since January 1, 2021. He was elected President of Oesterreichs Energie in June 2020 and President of the World Energy Council Austria. Michael Strugl studied law, social sciences, and economics at Johannes Kepler University. He holds an MBA in International Finance from the University of Toronto and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Programme at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

has been Chief Executive Officer of WindEurope since 2015. WindEurope is the voice of the European wind industry. The association represents the entire value chain of onshore and offshore wind energy in Europe and has more than 400 members active in over 50 countries. Dickson is also Chair of the Advisory Board of ENTSO-E and Visiting Professor at the Bucharest School of Economics. Before joining WindEurope, Giles Dickson was a UK civil servant for 16 years and then led Alstom’s public affairs activities.

is Chief Policy Officer at WindEurope. He leads WindEurope’s Policy Department covering advocacy, innovation, market intelligence and stakeholder engagement. Pierre also co-manages the Renewable Hydrogen Coalition, the Energy Storage Coalition and RE-Source. He joined WindEurope in 2011 and has a decade and a half of experience in European Climate and Energy policy. Pierre holds degrees from College of Europe, Paris Catholic Institute and Strasbourg Institute of Political Science.

Christian has accumulated 25 years working experience in Semiconductors (Siemens, IBM, G&D, Infineon Technologies), Renewable Energies & Hydrogen (Solyndra, Nanosolar, Smartenergy) and Electric Mobility (Torqeedo) in various management positions. With his multi-national background he speaks fluently German, English, French, Italian and some Spanish.

works at the edge of rapid innovation and complex corporate growth. She is a key influencer of innovation, technology, and sustainability in aviation. Ms. Beilharz scales and commercializes intrapreneurship from within companies and establishes partnerships with startups and corporates in the areas of AI, advanced materials, alternative fuels, future powertrains, automation, advanced air mobility, green energy, quantum computing, and alternative plastics. Ms. Beilharz established the CleanTech Hub at the Lufthansa Group, a full-fledged scouting, scaling and funding outfit for aviation tech that has brought over 20 tech projects into the Lufthansa Group companies spanning alternative fuels, alternative plastics and waste solutions, AI, lightweighting, hydrogen and future aircraft. She is currently leading Responsible AI, implementing green coding across the organization, and recently founded an applied Neuroscience Lab. Erin advises and invests in startups.

Since 2021, he has been the head of the Offshore Engineering division at EnBW AG and has also been leading the Offshore Power Generation business unit alongside two colleagues since 2024.He studied industrial engineering at the University of Karlsruhe, in Linköping, and at ETH Zurich, and he earned his Dr.-Ing. degree with a thesis in mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich. His professional journey to EnBW AG included positions at Lufthansa Technik and various leadership roles in service and business excellence at wind turbine manufacturers Senvion and Siemens Gamesa.

has been actively involved in the expansion of renewable energies in Europe for more than 30 years, and has worked exclusively in the globally growing offshore wind market for 22 years. His professional path in the offshore wind industry led him via leading positions at Repower Systems AG and RWE Innogy to his current work as a consultant and entrepreneur. Currently, the mechanical engineer, who holds a doctorate, is also an honorary board member of the Offshore Wind Energy Foundation as well as Vice Chairman of the World Forum Offshore Wind and a lecturer at the TUHH.

In 2021, he joined the ENGIE Group (former GDF SUEZ), initially as Managing Director 2nd Life Wind. joined Digital Realty in 2023 in the strategic energy procurement. His entry into the energy world began in 2011 as a journalist at ICIS in London, where he reported on European wholesale energy markets. From 2015 to 2022, he worked as a client manager in energy management services, supporting large consumers, first at Accenture, later at Schneider Electric.
Digital Realty operates 300 data centers worldwide and is one of the global leaders in the data center industry when it comes to sustainability and responsible engagement.

Since moving into the start-up world in 2015, Alex Schönfeldt has been traveling globally as Managing Director and CEO, developing, integrating, building, and operating electricity storage projects on every continent. As Co-Founder and Managing Director of LiBrick ESS in Norderstedt, his focus is now on providing flexibility and increasing supply security to support the energy transition in Germany.

wurde am 17. Juli 1970 geboren und ist spanischer Staatsbürger. Er startete seine Karriere 1993 bei Industrias Ferri. Seine ersten Erfahrungen in der Geschäftsführung machte er bei Gamesa, wo er von 1997 bis 2002 verschiedene Positionen im Management und im Vorstand ausführte. Seine Stationen beinhalteten die Geschäftsführung von Gamesa Eolica USA. Bei Gamesa USA war er als COO tätig, bei Gamesa Solar als Engineering Director und CEO sowie als Gamesa Offshore Director. In 2011 wurde er zum Chief Customer Officer und Mitglied des Vorstands bei Gamesa ernannt.

For all hotel guests, a bus transfer will be available in front of MOTEL ONE Hamburg-Fleetinsel from 1:40 PM, which will take you directly to the venue.

From the venue to the hotel
Minivans will be available from the venue to MOTEL ONE Hamburg-Fleetinsel starting at 10:00 PM, with the last departure at 12:15 AM.
Late Night
Anyone is welcome to join at Zwick Pöseldorf to bring the evening to an end in our tradition. Minivans (with a very limited number of seats) will also drive directly to Zwick, Mittelweg 121, Hamburg Pöseldorf at 12:15 AM.
For insurance reasons, it is not possible to disembark between the specified stops.

The Beach Club Sonnendeck St. Pauli is the perfect venue for THE BLUE BEACH. Located directly on Hamburg’s Landungsbrücken, with a view of the Elbe, the Elbphilharmonie concert hall and the wind turbines of the city of Hamburg, the perfect networking atmosphere is created as soon as you enter. Hamburg’s first outdoor address has a capacity of up to 800 guests on 980 m2. Sustainability was taken into account when furnishing the venue – “second use” takes centre stage here, without compromising on an elegant and stylish ambience. Solar panels on the roof of the newly designed beach club convert the Hamburg sun into energy. Large umbrellas preserve the unique view and special atmosphere in typical Hamburg weather.

Ticket price and included services
The purchase of a regular-priced ticket for THE BLUE BEACH 2025 event is €580.00 and includes all food and drinks offered throughout the event, as well as participation in the daytime programme from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and the evening event until midnight. The meals consist of a rich cake buffet, waffles served at the reception, and a dinner buffet. During the day, fruit will be served at the tables.

Personalised tickets
You will receive a message with instructions on how to enter the names of the participants based on your booking through your personal THE BLUE account.
Your personalized tickets will be available in your THE BLUE account, and you will be able to send them directly to the registered participants.
Payment modalities
Tickets are available exclusively via THE BLUE BEACH ticket shop and can be purchased using the usual payment tools (PayPal, credit card). All prices are subject to 19% VAT. Ticket cancellations are only possible in exceptional cases. However, tickets can be transferred to another person through your personal THE BLUE BEACH account.
