Katrin Fuhrmann

Katrin Fuhrmann studied international economics at the University of Maastricht and at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Lausanne. She also completed her Master of Arts in European Studies at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. Born in Cologne, she began her career in 2005 as a consultant at McKinsey & Company; in 2007 she moved to BNP Paribas Fortis as an energy analyst. Since 2009 she has held various positions in the ENGIE Group, initially as Senior Carbon Analyst, then as Head of Carbon Trading and as an electricity trader for Northwest Europe. Since 2020, Katrin Fuhrmann has been Head of Origination with responsibility for energy management activities in Germany and Poland.

In 2023, Claudia Kleinert was awarded the Order of Merit of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Since February 2026, Tinne Van der Straeten has been the CEO of WindEurope. Previously, she served as the Minister of Energy in Belgium from 2020 to 2025, where she gained extensive experience in leading energy policy at both the national and EU levels. During her tenure, she oversaw the expansion of wind energy in Belgium and played a key role in building consensus to respond to the energy crisis in 2022. Furthermore, she was instrumental in European energy cooperation, chairing the North Sea Energy Cooperation in 2020 and leading the European Energy Council in 2024. In 2022, she was the Vice-Chair of the Ministerial Meeting of the International Energy Agency (IEA). Most recently, Van der Straeten was a member of the Belgian Parliament, where she actively advocated for the interests of her constituents in the fields of energy and the environment. With her strong expertise in strategic planning, negotiations, and international collaboration, Tinne Van der Straeten is a prominent leader in the field of renewable energy.

is President of the German Wind Energy Association (Bundesverband WindEnergie, BWE) and one of the leading voices in Germany’s wind energy sector. Trained as an agricultural scientist, she runs an agricultural business in Lower Saxony and is Managing Partner of the Landwind Group, which she founded together with her husband in 2001. With around 180 employees, the company plans, builds, and operates wind farms and is also active in the fields of photovoltaics, charging infrastructure, and renewable electricity supply. Heidebroek is Chair of the Renewable Energy Association of Lower Saxony/Bremen (LEE), Vice President of the German Renewable Energy Federation (BEE), and Vice President of the Braunschweig Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK).

She is responsible for TenneT’s operational business. Her responsibilities include the expansion and maintenance of the onshore and offshore AC and HVDC transmission grid, system operations, asset management, as well as health, safety, and environmental protection. In this role, she ensures the technical reliability of the grid and the safe and efficient implementation of infrastructure projects.

born in 1972, studied Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University. He began his professional career in 1999 in Corporate Development at VEAG Vereinigte Energiewerke AG in Berlin. From 2001 to 2002, Groebler was part of the Group Development project team involved in the establishment of Vattenfall Europe AG, where he subsequently worked in the Corporate Development department. In 2003, Gunnar Groebler moved to the Group Strategies department of Vattenfall AB in Sweden.

has been working in the renewable energy sector since 2007, including 13 years at ABO Wind AG (now ABO Energy), where she held international leadership roles as General Manager in the areas of financing and project sales, project development, operations, and maintenance. In this role, she was responsible for numerous M&A projects in Germany and abroad and oversaw activities across a total of nine countries. Most recently, she served as CFO at Prowind GmbH, another entrepreneur-led project development company, and was additionally responsible for photovoltaic project development. Dörte Zink completed a banking apprenticeship and went on to study Business Administration at the University of Mannheim and at ESSEC Business School in Paris.

As Microsoft’s Director for Carbon‑Free Energy in EMEA, she leads regional power strategy, complex procurement, and government engagement to advance the company’s carbon‑free energy goals, enabling sustainable growth of one of the world’s largest datacenter footprints.
She operates at the intersection of markets, technology, and policy, building high‑impact partnerships with utilities, regulators, and developers to unlock grid capacity and accelerate clean‑energy deployment. With more than a decade across renewable development, energy analytics, and cross‑sector negotiation, Ginevra brings a systems‑level, people‑centered approach to shaping a reliable, equitable energy future.
She holds an Engineering degree in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University, with a specialization in Sustainable Energy. She is an avid rock climber and ski-mountaineer.

wurde am 17. Juli 1970 geboren und ist spanischer Staatsbürger. Er startete seine Karriere 1993 bei Industrias Ferri. Seine ersten Erfahrungen in der Geschäftsführung machte er bei Gamesa, wo er von 1997 bis 2002 verschiedene Positionen im Management und im Vorstand ausführte. Seine Stationen beinhalteten die Geschäftsführung von Gamesa Eolica USA. Bei Gamesa USA war er als COO tätig, bei Gamesa Solar als Engineering Director und CEO sowie als Gamesa Offshore Director. In 2011 wurde er zum Chief Customer Officer und Mitglied des Vorstands bei Gamesa ernannt.

The Beach Club Sonnendeck St. Pauli is the perfect venue for THE BLUE BEACH. Located directly on Hamburg’s Landungsbrücken, with a view of the Elbe, the Elbphilharmonie concert hall and the wind turbines of the city of Hamburg, the perfect networking atmosphere is created as soon as you enter. Hamburg’s first outdoor address has a capacity of up to 800 guests on 980 m2. Sustainability was taken into account when furnishing the venue – “second use” takes centre stage here, without compromising on an elegant and stylish ambience. Solar panels on the roof of the newly designed beach club convert the Hamburg sun into energy. Large umbrellas preserve the unique view and special atmosphere in typical Hamburg weather.

Ticket Price and Inclusions
By purchasing a ticket at the regular price of €580.00 for the THE BLUE BEACH 2026 event, you will receive all offered food and beverages included, and you can participate in the daily programme from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, as well as the evening event until midnight. The food includes a sweet snack upon arrival, a buffet dinner, and a late-night snack.
Exclusive Anniversary Ticket for BWE Members
We are pleased to offer you a special deal in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Federal Association of Renewable Energy (BWE)! Each BWE member has the opportunity to purchase a ticket for THE BLUE BEACH at a special price of €260.00. Thanks to a subsidy of €30 per ticket, you can take advantage of this exclusive offer. You will receive your personalised tickets via email to the address you provided. You can transfer your tickets to other individuals in your personal THE BLUE BEACH account up until shortly before the event.

Tickets are exclusively available through the THE BLUE BEACH ticket shop and can be purchased using common payment methods (PayPal, credit card). All prices are subject to 19% VAT.
