Since 1999, she has been presenting “Das Wetter im Ersten” on ARD and several regional channels, and since 2002 she has delivered the weather forecasts before the Tagesschau and after the Tagesthemen. In 2023, Claudia Kleinert was awarded the Order of Merit of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Katrin Fuhrmann

She also completed a Master of Arts in European Studies at the University of Bonn. Born in Cologne, she began her career in 2005 as a consultant at McKinsey & Company and moved to BNP Paribas Fortis in 2007 as an energy analyst. Since 2009, she has held various positions within the ENGIE Group, initially as Senior Carbon Analyst, followed by Head of Carbon Trading and Power Trader for Northwest Europe. Since 2020, Katrin Fuhrmann has been Head of Origination, responsible for energy management activities in Germany and Poland.Michael Strugl studied law, social sciences and economics at the Johannes Kepler University. He holds an MBA in International Finance from the University of Toronto and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Programme of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Tinne Van der Straeten
Chief Executive Officer at WindEurope

Since February 2026, Tinne Van der Straeten has been the CEO of WindEurope. Previously, she served as the Minister of Energy in Belgium from 2020 to 2025, where she gained extensive experience in leading energy policy at both the national and EU levels. During her tenure, she oversaw the expansion of wind energy in Belgium and played a key role in building consensus to respond to the energy crisis in 2022. Furthermore, she was instrumental in European energy cooperation, chairing the North Sea Energy Cooperation in 2020 and leading the European Energy Council in 2024. In 2022, she was the Vice-Chair of the Ministerial Meeting of the International Energy Agency (IEA). Most recently, Van der Straeten was a member of the Belgian Parliament, where she actively advocated for the interests of her constituents in the fields of energy and the environment. With her strong expertise in strategic planning, negotiations, and international collaboration, Tinne Van der Straeten is a prominent leader in the field of renewable energy.

Bärbel Heidebroek
President, German Wind Energy Association (BWE)

is President of the German Wind Energy Association (Bundesverband WindEnergie, BWE) and one of the leading voices in Germany’s wind energy sector. Trained as an agricultural scientist, she runs an agricultural business in Lower Saxony and is Managing Partner of the Landwind Group, which she founded together with her husband in 2001. With around 180 employees, the company plans, builds, and operates wind farms and is also active in the fields of photovoltaics, charging infrastructure, and renewable electricity supply. Heidebroek is Chair of the Renewable Energy Association of Lower Saxony/Bremen (LEE), Vice President of the German Renewable Energy Federation (BEE), and Vice President of the Braunschweig Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK).

Dr. Susanna Zapreva
Member of the Executive Board of VERBUND AG, Chief Renewables Officer (CRO)

Since January 2024, she has been a member of the board of VERBUND AG, where she is responsible for the international growth business, among other things. Prior to that, she was the chairwoman of the board of enercity AG in Germany from 2016 to 2023. Her career path led her from the consulting industry to the energy sector. Before moving to Germany, Susanna Zapreva was the managing director of Wien Energie GmbH for nine years. She completed her studies in electrical engineering and a subsequent doctoral program in technical sciences at the Technical University of Vienna. In addition, Susanna Zapreva successfully completed a degree in business administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and the University of South Australia in Adelaide. She is pursuing her management and leadership training at the Said Business School at the University of Oxford. Susanna Zapreva holds several supervisory and advisory board positions in renowned companies in the German-speaking region.

Dr. Anne Bendzulla

is the COO (Head of Generation) of ENERTRAG SE and is responsible for plant operation, maintenance, digitalization, and HSE. The PhD mechanical engineer from RWTH Aachen has over 15 years of leadership experience at RWE, Thyssenkrupp, and Technip. With her expertise in engineering, IT strategy, and transformation, she drives growth along the value chain. Her goal is to accelerate the energy transition with the ENERTRAG Verbundkraftwerk® through intelligent coupling of generation, grid, battery, and H₂ solutions – and to create sustainable value.

Ina Kamps
Chief Operating Officer at TenneT
She is responsible for TenneT’s operational business. Her responsibilities include the expansion and maintenance of the onshore and offshore AC and HVDC transmission grid, system operations, asset management, as well as health, safety, and environmental protection. In this role, she ensures the technical reliability of the grid and the safe and efficient implementation of infrastructure projects.

Anna-Theresa Korbutt
Managing Director HVV – Hamburger Verkehrsverbund GmbH

Since April 2021, she has been the Managing Director of the Hamburg Transport Association (hvv), the leading transport association in Germany, focused on the consistent implementation of the Deutschlandticket and advancing digitalization. As a passionate manager and visionary in local and long-distance public transport, she advocates for innovative and sustainable mobility concepts. From 2004 to 2012, Korbutt held various staff, strategy, and marketing roles at Deutsche Bahn AG. This was followed by positions in Switzerland and Austria, where she led corporate strategy and business development at the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB). Until 2020, she served as the Managing Director of BEXity GmbH in Vienna, the largest freight forwarder in Austria.Her experience and fighting spirit are also evident in her role as Chair of the VDV Committee on “Pricing and Distribution” and as a Supervisory Board member at WestBahn. She is a sought-after speaker at national and international events. For her exceptional commitment to a simple fare system in connection with the Deutschlandticket, Anna-Theresa Korbutt received the Federal Passenger Award from the passenger association PRO BAHN e.V. in March 2023.

Gunnar Groebler

From 2001 to 2002, Groebler was part of the Group Development project team involved in the establishment of Vattenfall Europe AG, where he subsequently worked in the Corporate Development department. In 2003, Gunnar Groebler moved to the Group Strategies department of Vattenfall AB in Sweden.

Tobias Heyen
