THE BLUE BEACH is the european summer event for the makers of renewable energies in Germany. A very special open-air experience awaits you.

Energy is movement.
Energy is change.
Energy is in the water and in the air.
Water covers two thirds of our earth.
Water and air are our basis for life.
Wind and water are our energy.
The sun makes water and sky appear blue.

Life on the blue planet is only possible in the future if we switch our energy production to renewable energies.

THE BLUE – Tomorrow’s Green moves the questions of the transformation of the energy system with experts from business, politics and technology.

THE BLUE has been hosting formats on the latest developments in the energy market since 2014.

THE BLUE BEACH is an event format that brings together the most important drivers and decision-makers of renewable energies in Europe.

Location

Sonnendeck St. Pauli
The Beach Club Sonnendeck St. Pauli is the perfect venue for THE BLUE BEACH. Situated directly at Hamburg’s Landungsbrücken, with a view of the Elbe, the Elbphilharmonie and the wind turbines of the city of Hamburg, the right networking atmosphere is created as soon as you enter.
Hamburg’s first outdoor address has a capacity of up to 800 guests on 980 m2. The furnishings were designed with sustainability in mind – “second use” is the main focus here, without sacrificing an elegant and stylish ambience. Solar modules on the roof of the newly designed beach club convert Hamburg’s sun into energy. Large umbrellas preserve the unique view and the special atmosphere in case of typical Hamburg weather.
