Giles Dickson has been Chief Executive Officer of WindEurope since 2015. WindEurope is the voice of the European wind industry.
The association represents the entire value chain of onshore and offshore wind energy in Europe and has more than 400 members active in over 50 countries. Dickson is also Chair of the Advisory Board of ENTSO-E and Visiting Professor at the Bucharest School of Economics.
Before joining WindEurope, Giles Dickson was a UK civil servant for 16 years and then led Alstom’s public affairs activities.

His clients include in particular domestic and foreign investment funds, private investors and banks, which he advises on cross-border transactions and other renewable energy projects. Axel Röpke has been a regional board member of the German Wind Energy Association Hamburg (BWE) since 2009 and was also vice president of the German Wind Energy Association in Berlin from 2015 to 2017 and advises on honorary capacity the Danish Seamen’s Church “Benediktekirken” in Hamburg on all legal issues.

Senator Jens Kerstin has been the Minister of Environment and Energy of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg since 2015 until today. The two resources climate and agriculture were added in 2020. From 2008 to 2015 Mr. Kerstan was chairman of the Green parliamentary group in the Hamburg State Parliament. He was the group spokesman for environment, energy, and climate issues, as well as for budget and economy issues. Prior to joining the Hamburg State Parliament in 2002, Kerstan, an economist, was marketing project manager for a global supplier of technologies and consultancy services. From 1995 to 2011 he was also chairman of a nature conservation organization in Hamburg.

was born on 17 July 1970 and is a Spanish citizen. He started his career in 1993 at Industrias Ferri. His first management experience was at Gamesa, where he held various management and board positions from 1997 to 2002. His stations included the management of Gamesa Eolica USA. At Gamesa USA he served as COO, at Gamesa Solar as Engineering Director and CEO, and as Gamesa Offshore Director. In 2011, he was appointed Chief Customer Officer and Member of the Board at Gamesa.
José Luis Blanco joined the management of Acciona Windpower in 2012.
José Luis Blanco has been a member of the Management Board of Nordex SE since the acquisition of Acciona Windpower by Nordex in April 2016, initially as Chief Operating Officer (COO). José Luis Blanco was appointed Chairman of the Management Board on 17 March 2017.

The Beach Club Sonnendeck St. Pauli is the perfect venue for THE BLUE BEACH. Situated directly at Hamburg’s Landungsbrücken, with a view of the Elbe, the Elbphilharmonie and the wind turbines of the city of Hamburg, the right networking atmosphere is created as soon as you enter.
Hamburg’s first outdoor address has a capacity of up to 800 guests on 980 m2. The furnishings were designed with sustainability in mind – “second use” is the main focus here, without sacrificing an elegant and stylish ambience. Solar modules on the roof of the newly designed beach club convert Hamburg’s sun into energy. Large umbrellas preserve the unique view and the special atmosphere in case of typical Hamburg weather.

Included services
The purchase of a ticket for the event THE BLUE BEACH 2023 worth 455,00 EUR (early bird discount until 31.05.2023) or 650,00 EUR includes all offered food and beverages as well as the participation in the day program from 12:00 to 18:00 and in the evening event until midnight, including the THE BLUE BEACH concert. The meals include lunch and dinner. During the day, fruit will also be served at the tables and waffles at a stand.
Personalized tickets
All tickets are personalised and non-transferable. You have the option of submitting the name of the person attending 10 days before the event by e-mail at participant@thebluebeach.de as well as having it changed to another person. If you book more than one ticket, you do not have to provide all the names and can submit them accordingly at the above e-mail address.
Payment modalities
Tickets can only be purchased on account. 10 days before the event, you will receive the personalized tickets at the e-mail address you provided. The ticket price is payable immediately without deduction after invoicing. All prices are subject to 19% VAT.
